4. What This Platform Is Not

Maritime Exam Prep Pro explicitly does not:

This platform provides study aids and practice materials only. Completion of any content on this platform does not guarantee success in any MCA or maritime examination. Users are responsible for ensuring they meet all official requirements set by the MCA, their flag state and any relevant training authority.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription plans are available on monthly, multi-month or other billing cycles as displayed on the pricing page. Prices are in GBP. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current paid billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period unless required by applicable law.

Multi-month billing options are charged as a single upfront payment covering the selected period. Discounts displayed reflect savings versus the equivalent monthly rate. Subscriptions do not automatically renew at the multi-month rate — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

Add-on usage packs are one-time purchases and do not expire. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Maritime Exam Prep Pro does not store payment card details.

8. Acceptable Use — General

You agree to use the platform for lawful purposes only. You must not:

Share account credentials with others
Distribute, reproduce or resell platform content without written permission
Attempt to circumvent access controls, subscription restrictions or security measures
Use automated tools to scrape, extract or bulk download platform content
Submit content that is false, misleading, offensive, unlawful or harmful

9. Acceptable Use — AI and Tutor Tools

The AI Oral Examiner, Chat with Tutor and other AI-powered features are provided for legitimate exam preparation purposes. You must not use these tools to:

Generate false or misleading maritime safety information intended for operational use
Attempt to elicit content that violates these terms or applicable law
Systematically extract or reproduce AI-generated content for redistribution

AI-generated feedback and responses are provided for study and revision purposes only and must not be relied upon as authoritative guidance for live operational, safety-critical or regulatory decisions.

10. Platform Rights

Maritime Exam Prep Pro reserves the right to:

Suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms
Remove, modify, or update any content on the platform
Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
Remove access immediately where serious misuse is identified

11. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, branding and materials on this platform are the property of Maritime Exam Prep Pro and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any platform content without express written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

Maritime Exam Prep Pro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the platform or its content.
